National Nurses United (NNU) has been a key advocate for this campaign, pushing for a system that removes all premiums, copays, and deductibles, allowing patients to choose their providers freely.
Supporters argue that while taxes may increase, Americans would still pay less overall due to the removal of various healthcare costs. They believe a single-payer system could reduce administrative costs, making healthcare more efficient and affordable.
